Running the week from it
- The planner. A week of site calls by operative or by project, with the address, the work and the people on each one. A clash is named on both calls, so you fix it before Monday.
- Repairs booked from the findings. Book the repair or re-survey for a door with a fault from the finding itself, and it lands on the planner against that door.
- Materials for the week. The planner’s materials view lists what the booked work needs, ready to export.
- Clock-in on site. The crew clock in and out on their phones at the site. Their location is checked while the clock card is open, and recorded only when they clock in or out. Nothing is recorded in between.
- Timesheets ready for payroll. Hours per person per week, breaks taken off, with rates and costs, and a PDF or CSV export.
- Your team, your roles. Invite your operatives, foremen and office staff from the web. Each role sees what that job needs.
On site, they open the plan and start
The crew see the drawing with every door on it and what is queued, and which doors show Fault or No faults found. They tap a door and start, with no paperwork in the van. See fire door inspection and remedial works.
On Irish jobs
Passive fire crews on Irish jobs move between live buildings, often several in a week. The office has to know who is where, and keep a record of the hours worked: Irish employers have to keep records of their staff’s working time.
DoorInspec+ puts the week on one planner, shows who is on which site, and keeps each clock-in and clock-out with its time. Breaks are recorded, so the hours are net. Timesheets export for payroll as a PDF or a CSV.

It records each person’s start and finish times and breaks, day by day, and exports them. What your records must contain is for you and your adviser to check.
