- DoorInspec+
- Remedials and ordering
For fire door maintenance contractors
Remedial works priced before you leave the floor
The operative finds the fault and picks the fix at the door. The office sees it priced from your own rate card, puts it on a quote in one step, and orders the replacement doorsets that need replacing. No notes in the van and no pricing a job from memory a week later.

From the fault to the invoice
- The fix picked at the door. New closer, re-hang, intumescent strip, from your own list of jobs, with how busy the corridor is and the site conditions. The operative never has to name a price.
- Priced from your rate card. Materials, labour and the extras for a busy corridor or a finished area, all from the rates you set. The office checks it and adjusts if needed.
- Onto a quote in one step. Tick the priced fixes and add them to a quote. A quote freezes the figures, so the price your client accepted is the price you invoice.
- Quotes and invoices in your name. On your letterhead, in euro, with VAT shown only if you are VAT registered, and reverse charge where RCT applies. Emailed from the app, and you see when they are opened.
- Doorsets ordered from the openings. Order replacement doorsets for the doors that need them. Each one is a complete certified doorset sized from the opening, numbered, with a PDF and an Excel schedule for the manufacturer. Track each door as made, delivered and fitted.
- Leaf only, if that is how you work. Leaf-only ordering is a company setting, off by default, and the order says plainly it is not a certified doorset.
The estimate is recorded at the door
The job, the corridor and the conditions go in on the phone with the photo, against the exact door. The office prices it from there, so nobody rings site to ask what it was. See how it starts in fire door inspection, and how the repair gets booked in scheduling.

On Irish jobs
On Irish jobs the remedial list usually comes out of a survey someone else commissioned. It might be an estates team, a fire safety consultant, or the person in control of the building acting on their duty under the Fire Services Acts. The sooner the fixes are priced, the sooner the work is agreed and done.
DoorInspec+ prices each fix from your own rates, at the door, so the office can quote before anyone leaves the floor. The original finding stays on record beside the repair. So the building’s file shows what was wrong, what was done and when, not only how things stand today.
Doorsets that need replacing are ordered from the same record, with the schedule your manufacturer needs.
Questions
Who sets the prices?
You do. The rate card is yours: materials, labour rates and the extras. The operative picks the job, the office sees the price.
Does the app send the order to the manufacturer?
No. It makes the order, its PDF and its Excel schedule. You send it to your manufacturer.
Can a quote change after it is sent?
Not quietly. An issued document keeps the words and figures it was issued with.
Does a repair overwrite the original finding?
No. The finding stays as it was found. The repair and its re-check are added beside it, with who did them and when.
Can an estates team see what was fixed?
Yes, if you give them a client view. It shows what was found, and what has been fixed and checked since.
